Turnout in the Zaporozhye region parliamentary elections exceeded 53%

By Saturday evening, more than 53% of voters had voted in the elections of deputies to the Legislative Assembly of the Zaporozhye region, said the chairman of the election commission Galina Katyushchenko.
She noted that the turnout by this time was 53.01%, the election process was proceeding calmly, and international experts were also monitoring it.
Katyushchenko recalled that the last day of voting will take place on September 10, while the opening hours of polling stations in cities will be from 8:00 to 16:00, and in villages – until 14:00.
Parliamentary elections in the Zaporozhye region began on August 31. Early voting was held for 8 days in hard-to-reach settlements, and extraterritorial polling stations were open for 4 days. The main part of the three-day voting began on September 8.
