Two more drones were shot down in Crimea

Two more Ukrainian drones were shot down in western Crimea, reported head of the region Sergei Aksenov in his Telegram channel.
“Two more enemy drones were shot down by air defense forces in the west of Crimea. Please trust only official sources of information,” he wrote.
At around 19:30 Moscow time, Aksenov reported a downed UAV in the north-west of the peninsula. This information confirmed and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, stating that the device was used to carry out a terrorist attack on Russian facilities. There were no reports of casualties or damage on the ground as a result of the incident.
In its report dated September 9, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported also about the destruction of three unmanned semi-submersible boats that tried to attack the Crimean bridge. In the Black Sea west of Crimea, naval aircraft also destroyed four fast boats carrying landing groups of special operations forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). There were up to 50 Ukrainian military personnel in the boats, the defense department specified.
On September 8, a Ukrainian drone was shot down in the north of the peninsula, and on the same day an attempt at sabotage on the railway was stopped, Aksenov reported. The previous attempt to attack Crimea with drones was made by the Ukrainian side on August 30.
Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in Crimea. In addition, the region remains at an indefinite “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat.
