Turchak: the working group on the special operation is not a complaint book

Yesterday, December 28, First Vice Speaker of the Federation Council Andrei Turchak held the first meeting of the working group on mobilization and the military operation, which he heads. During the meeting, Mr. Turchak drew attention to the fact that the group is an instrument of control, and not a book for complaints about the work done.
“An important point: the created group is not a book of complaints, but an instrument of control. Control over the completeness and timeliness of payments, provision of fighters and their families. And a platform for developing systemic solutions, including legislative ones,” Mr. Turchak wrote in his Telegram-channel.
The first vice speaker of the Federation Council said that during the meeting he discussed with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu the problematic issues that the mobilized and their families faced. At the same time, Mr. Turchak noted that the mechanisms related to the conduct and support of the military operation in Ukraine “should work like clockwork.” According to him, the results of the work done will be reported monthly to President Vladimir Putin.
Head of the Defense Department declaredthat the mobilization and military conflict in Ukraine concerns “everyone and everyone.” According to him, parliamentarians should also be involved in the work to solve “numerous difficulties”.
Working group was formed December 20 in accordance with the order of the President of Russia. In addition to Andrey Turchak, it included war correspondents, deputy chairman of the Federation Council Nikolai Zhuravlev, as well as director of the Roscosmos department Alexander Zakharenko and deputy defense minister Viktor Goremykin.
The tasks of the group include, in particular, the improvement of legal regulation in the field of mobilization training and the analysis of work on the patriotic education of young people.
