Tula residents won medals in the team sprint at the Russian Track Cup

Tula residents successfully performed at representative track cycling competitions in the Northern capital.
On Friday, the Russian championship and championship, the National Cup, started at the St. Petersburg cycling track “Locosphinx”. Already on the very first day of the race, Tula cyclists managed to take prizes.
In the team sprint, first place was won by Igor Girilovich, Dmitry Nesterov and Alexander Dubchenko. Bronze goes to Bogdan Medenets, Maxim Naumov, Nikita Bykovsky and the foursome Olga Goncharova, Violetta Khaibullaeva, Vladislav Vasilenko and Sofia Bessonova.
Among the juniors in the same racing discipline, as reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Tula Region, Tula residents Artem Puchenkin and Andrey Kunin, together with St. Petersburger Dmitry Pavlovsky, climbed to the third step of the podium.
On Saturday, Tula residents will take part in the group points race and individual sprint.
