The Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo futsal players continue to compete in the regular championship of the PARI-Super League for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Nizhny Novgorod has been playing in the elite division of Russian futsal for 4 seasons in a row and has been able to make significant progress, now ranking among the strongest teams in the PARI-Super League. At the moment, Torpedo ranks 5th in the PARI-Super League standings, behind only rivals representing the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Norilsk Nickel, Gazprom-Yugra and Ukhta.
In the upcoming home matches, Torpedo will have to play against opponents who occupy a place in the middle of the PARI-Super League standings. The futsal players of the “New Generation”, who settled in 8th place, will come to Nizhny Novgorod. Based on the results of 24 matches played in the current regular season, New Generation was able to score 30 points, which allows it, not so confidently, but to be among the participants in the fight for getting into the playoffs. During the first round, “Torpedo” and “New Generation” exchanged victories.
Let us remind you that the regular championship matches of the PARI-Super League between Torpedo and New Generation will be held on January 20 and 21. The start of the first match is scheduled for 17:30, and the starting whistle for the second match will take place at 19:30 Moscow time.
