Tula arbitration judge became a suspect in a fraud case

A criminal case was opened against the judge of the Tula Region Arbitration Court Grigory Los. He is suspected of fraud, attempted fraud and mediation in bribery. About it reported in the press service of the regional investigation department (SU) of the TFR.

“He is suspected of committing crimes under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, on an especially large scale), part 4 of Art. 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (mediation in bribery committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, on an especially large scale), part 3 of Art. 30 and part 1 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted fraud),” the Investigative Committee of the ICR said in a statement.

According to the TFR, from June 2019 to April 2021, Grigory Los received 3.5 million rubles through a friend. as part of the total amount of 6.5 million rubles. The department claims that the money was a bribe to a judge from the Central District Arbitration Court, for which he had to cancel the decision in the case of one commercial organization. The suspect did not have the opportunity to transfer the money and influence the decision on the claim.

Grigory Los also suggested that his friend contact the applicant’s representative in the case of recognition of ownership of non-residential premises, the Investigative Committee of the ICR reported. The judge asked for 1.5 million rubles. for the annulment of the court decision and satisfaction of the claim. Later, the plaintiff’s representative reported this to the FSB department for the Tula region. The money was transferred under the supervision of intelligence officers.
