Judge Marianne Trump Barry, the elder sister of the former US President, died in New York at the age of 86, the New York Times writes.
According to the publication, “Barry died at home on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.” The cause of death has not been announced.
Until 2019, Maryanne Trump Barry was a federal judge in New Jersey. Donald Trump was believed to often listen to his older sister’s opinions. However, after their niece Mary Trump published an audio recording of Marianne criticizing her younger brother, their relationship fell apart.
Trump has already suffered several personal losses in recent years. His younger brother Robert died in 2020, and Ivan’s first wife died last year.
