Accused of murdering war correspondent and blogger Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin) will be transported from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Information about the transfer of the prisoner appeared in a number of media on Wednesday, August 23.

According to the investigation, on April 2, in the cafe-bar “Patriot”, owned by Yevgeny Prigozhin, the Cyber Front Z movement organized a creative evening by Vladlen Tatarsky called “There is such a profession – a military commissar.” During the event at 18:13 there was an explosion, as a result of which the blogger died. The main suspect in the murder almost immediately became Daria Trepova. She brought to the cafe a plaster figurine in the form of a military head, which was stuffed with explosives. During the event, the attackers activated an explosive device at a distance, which caused the death of a well-known military correspondent. Before committing the murder, Trepova also attended a meeting of Tatarsky with fans in Moscow, where, in order to inspire confidence, she presented him with drawings, which he allegedly inspired her with his work.

The military commander was buried on April 8, 2023 at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow. According to various estimates, from several hundred to a thousand people came to say goodbye to Vladlen Tatarsky.

Trepov, who is accused of murdering a military officer, will be transferred from the Russian capital to St. Petersburg and, thus, will move from Lefortovo to Shpalerka (SIZO-3). To date, the investigation of the case has been completed. Now the circumstances of Tatarsky’s murder will be considered by the Second Western District Military Court.

Formerly MK informedthat Daria Trepova, who tried to convince the investigation that she did not know about the bomb inside the statuette, was telling a lie. The accused of killing the military correspondent claimed that she was sure that there was a surveillance device inside the plaster bust. However, according to the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin, it was possible to establish that Trepova knew about the bomb planted inside the figurine.
