At the Baltic customs, they found 71,000 cigarettes that they wanted to illegally smuggle into the Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of the customs.

During the inspection of the ship, Hong Kong cigarettes in golden packs called “Double Happiness” were found. They planned to smuggle them into the Russian Federation illegally, without an appropriate declaration.

As a result, customs officers seized about 71,000 of these cigarettes. An administrative offense case was opened against the carrier, and the police are now investigating.
