Transbaikal archers won prizes in the Russian championship in classical and compound bow shooting, which ended on September 24 in Kaliningrad. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

In a fight with more than 400 athletes from 39 regions of the country, Transbaikal “classical” archers won the team competitions in the categories “boys under 18 years old” and “juniors under 21 years old”.

One of our winning athletes under the age of 21, student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Ecology of ZabSU Kirill Batuev, said that he had to compete in a downpour with the wind.

Girls under 18 took bronze in the classic bow, and silver in the block bow.

Third place in the individual competition in classical bow among juniors under 21 years old was taken by Bair Torgubaev, and Bator Shirabtsinguev also received bronze among boys under 18 years old. Alexandra Tsydenova took silver among girls under 18 years old.

In the individual competition in compound bow, third place was taken by junior under 21 Elbek Solbonov, and among girls under 18, Angelina Aprelkova won silver.
