Sambo mats were sent to the Ust-Belaya Village Education Center

On Wednesday, September 27, gymnastic mats were sent from the Anadyr seaport to the village of Ust-Belaya. They were allocated to the local education center by the District Children’s and Youth Sports School. Sports equipment will allow the educational institution to begin the work of a physical education section on self-defense, reports the Chukotka news agency.

The Youth and Youth Sports School allocated 16 mats with a total area of ​​32 square meters to the Education Center in the village of Ust-Belaya. meters. The Chukotka Trading Company provided assistance with the delivery of sports equipment to a remote settlement in the Anadyr region. The organization sent sports equipment on a barge along with its goods. The seaport of the regional capital also provided assistance with the shipment.

“Sambo classes will be taught by the school physical education teacher – master of sports in judo and sambo, Baatr Mandzhiev. Training will take place in the gym. During classes, the mats will be laid out and collected after classes are completed. The coach plans to recruit primary school students. According to our estimates, young athletes will show their first results in 2-3 years,” said Dmitry Simonov, Chairman of the Regional Sambo Federation.

The deputy director for educational work of the Central Educational Center of the village of Ust-Belaya refused to comment on when the children will be able to start classes.

According to the regional Sambo Federation, training in this sport is already underway in educational institutions in the villages of Ugolnye Kopi and Provideniya, as well as the village of Meinypilgyno. In the district capital, the physical education section should start working in late October – early November. The first tournament in Anadyr is planned to be held on November 16, the day declared Sambo Day by the Russian President.

To do this, they plan to invite qualified trainers to the region, as well as purchase uniforms, mats and sports equipment for training for all municipalities in the region.
