Traktor lost in overtime to Dynamo Moscow

Traktor continued the championship with an away match against Dynamo Moscow. Chelyabinsk took the lead twice, but lost in overtime 3:4. Goals from the guests were scored by Temu Pulkkinen, Alexey Byvaltsev and Nikita Soshnikov.

Significant changes have taken place in Traktor. The place at the gate was taken by Sergey Mylnikov, Kirill Ustimenko – in reserve. Sergei Telegin returned to the first pair of defenses, Roman Manukhov moved to the third. The seventh defender is Igor Isaev.

In attack, Nikita Soshnikov made his debut on the first line, and Nikita Tertyshny was transferred to the second line to Vladimir Tkachev. Sergey Kalinin became the center of the third link instead of Pyotr Khokhrakov. The 13th forward included 17-year-old Alexander Rykov, who excels in the VHL.

And this time, Alexander Rykov was not marinated with a bench, and from the very first period he began to receive playing time. At the beginning of the match, Traktor grabbed three removals in a row and Alexander Skorenov predictably opened the scoring. But Chelyabinsk quickly bounced back. First, Theme Pulkkinen converted the first majority of the guests. And towards the end of the period, Alexei Byvaltsev finished off the puck after a shot by Nikita Soshnikov. We also note two assists by Anton Burdasov, which allowed him to reach the mark of 350 points in the KHL.

In the second period, Traktor played well again, but the Muscovites turned the tide of the meeting in the end and bounced back. Andrey Mironov finished off the puck against Mylnikov, who had already won back.

The third period began with a goal by Nikita Soshnikov in his debut match for Traktor. The Dynamo goalkeeper, it seemed, simply did not expect a wrist throw from the Chelyabinsk striker and could not react. In the middle of the period, Yegor Martynov realized the removal of the same Soshnikov and equalized the score again.

In overtime, the hosts had 33 seconds to tip the scales in their favor. Dynamo captain Andrei Mironov took advantage of Rob Hamilton’s mistake.
