On February 29, traffic will be temporarily closed on a number of streets in the central part of the city, the Moscow Traffic Organization Center (TCOC) reported.
From 05:00 until the end of the event, travel along Varvarka Street from Kitaygorodsky Proezd to the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge will be temporarily blocked; on Ilyinke Street from New Square to Red Square; on Moskvoretskaya Street from the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge to the Kremlin Embankment; on Vasilievsky Spusk Square; on the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge from Varvarki Street to Lubochny Lane; in the passage from Ilyinka Street to Varvarka Street.
Also, from 00:01 until the end of the event, parking will be prohibited on Ilyinka, Varvarka and Moskvoretskaya streets. The Center recommended that residents use public transport to travel to the center.
The data center did not specify what specific “event” we are talking about. On February 29, President Vladimir Putin plans to address his annual message to the Federal Assembly at Gostiny Dvor.
