Transport Minister Lukashenka denies traffic jam at Crimean bridge
There are no more cars at the entrance to the Crimean bridge. This was announced by the Minister of Transport of Crimea Nikolay Lukashenko in his Telegram channel.
“On behalf of the head of the Republic of Crimea, Aksenov S.V., I am monitoring the work of inspection activities on the Crimean bridge. As of 12:30, there is no traffic jam from the side of the Republic of Crimea,” he said.
Then the minister drove over the bridge in the direction of the Kuban. Lukashenka added that at 13.10 there was also no queue from the Krasnodar Territory.
Since the beginning of July, a lot of cars have accumulated in front of the entrance to the Crimean bridge in the direction of the Krasnodar Territory. On July 3, the queue stretched to thirteen kilometers, but by the morning of July 2, it had decreased to four. The difficulty in traffic was explained by the increase in the number of vehicles and baggage subject to inspection. The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation announced earlier the launch of additional inspection points.
