On November 12, the next match as part of the KHL regular championship will be played by the Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo hockey players. The Nizhny Novgorod team will have to play against Amur, an active participant in the fight to get into the top 8 of the Eastern Conference.
Based on the results of 28 matches played, Amur hockey players occupy 10th place in the Eastern Conference, scoring 28 points. The team from Khabarovsk has not been able to get into the playoffs of the Gagarin Cup for several years in a row, but this season it is close to getting into the top 8 of the Eastern Conference and taking part in the knockout matches. The last time Amur played in the playoffs of the Gagarin Cup was in the 2017-2018 season.
