The Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo hockey players continue to compete in the WHL regular championship for the 2023-2024 season. After away matches against Agidel, which took place from November 19 to 22, the WHL regular championship for the team from Nizhny Novgorod went on pause and will resume almost in a month. In Ufa, the Torpedo hockey players were finishing the first round of the regular season and, unfortunately, they did it in the most successful way. Two defeats from Agidel in regular time did not allow the club from Nizhny Novgorod to maintain its lead in the standings.
The Torpedo hockey players will be able to take revenge and regain the lead in the first matches after the resumption of the WHL regular championship. In the period from December 21 to 25, Torpedo hockey players will have to play 3 matches against Agidel in their home arena. Now the difference between the teams in the standings is only 1 point, which can be won back at any time. Victories over Agidel and leadership in the standings at the end of the year would be an excellent gift for the Torpedo hockey players to their loyal fans.
Let us remind you that the WHL regular championship matches between Torpedo and Agidel will take place on December 21, 22 and 25. The start of all matches is scheduled for 18:30 Moscow time.
