Torpedo beat SKA in the first match of the series

Vasily Atanasov successfully returned from injury and sent the third puck into the SKA goal, but this time the army team reduced the gap to a minimum. It was only during the final period of the game that Torpedo was able to finally consolidate its advantage. SKA hockey players went on the attack with large forces and left the goal empty, which the Nizhny Novgorod team took advantage of twice. The final siren sealed Torpedo’s victory with a score of 5:2.
The second match in the Gagarin Cup playoff series between SKA and Torpedo will take place on March 3. The meeting is scheduled to start at 17:00 Moscow time.
