In the Smolensk region, the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin began in sports, hockey and space.
The celebrations began with the opening of the III Aerospace Ice Hockey Cup in Smolensk. 12 teams from Russia and Belarus will compete for the main aerospace Cup on March 2 and 3.
The cup began with a gala match between the teams “Team of Governor Anokhin” and the “Aerospace Team”. With the participation of famous pilots and astronauts.
Anokhin, Neverov and company beat the cosmonauts with a score of 4:3. It turned out to be very good hockey. The spectators, who completely filled the stands of the Yubileiny Sports Palace, gave both teams a real ovation.
