Australian boxer Tim Tszyu lost to Sebastian Fundora from the USA in a 12-round fight in Las Vegas (USA, Nevada). The fight in the weight category up to 69.9 kg ended in a split decision.

29-year-old Tszyu suffered his first defeat in the professional ring. He has 24 wins (17 by knockout). He was originally scheduled to face Keith Thurman, but was replaced due to injury two weeks before the fight. Tszyu failed to defend his World Boxing Organization (WBO) world title for the second time and win the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) belt.

Tim Tszyu is the son of Russian boxer, absolute world champion Konstantin Tszyu. He was born in 1994, two years after his parents moved to Australia from Russia. Konstantin Tszyu divorced Tim’s mother in 2013 and moved to Moscow.

The 26-year-old Fundora now has 21 victories in the professional ring with 1 defeat and 1 draw. He was the interim WBC world champion in 2022–2023.

Tim Tszyu will earn $10 million for the fight, Sebastian Fundora – $1 million.
