Three Stavropol athletes at once became masters of sports of international class

By order of the Russian Ministry of Sports, three Stavropol athletes Nikolai Serdyukov, Denis Dolbna and Ilya Tokarev were awarded the sports title “International Master of Sports of Russia” for high sports achievements at once.

According to the press service of the administration of the regional center, our guys received the honorary title following the results of the victorious results at the ITF Asian Cup international taekwondo tournament, which took place in November 2022 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

“All three guys are long-term pupils of sports schools located in the regional center. All three of them have victories and prize-winning places in national and international competitions. Together they are part of the Russian ITF taekwondo team, – the press service of the mayor’s office noted.

Nikolai Serdyukov has a black belt, 2nd dan. The young man has been professionally fond of taekwondo for more than 15 years on the basis of the Stavropol martial arts school and the Chonji taekwondo sports club. The coach of the highest category of the city martial arts school, the head coach of the Chonji taekwondo sports club, Garik Khachaturian, is training with the athlete.

Denis Dolbnya is a 4th dan black belt. Denis has been doing taekwondo for 20 years. The guy is a pupil of the municipal martial arts sports school. Here the athlete is trained by the coach of the highest category, head coach of the Stavropol Territory team Viktor Kim.

Ilya Tokarev – 2nd dan black belt. He discovered Taekwondo 13 years ago. Like Nikolai, the young man attends the school of martial arts of the city and the sports club of taekwondo “Chonji”. Training is also similar under the guidance of Garik Khachaturian.

The mayor’s office congratulated the athletes and their coaches, and also wished them to continue to win and glorify their native city, region and country.
