The next stage of the “Young Dynamo” Olympics was held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. For the medals of the tournament, timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the All-Russian sports society “Dynamo”, 42 pupils of the island sports schools fought, the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports reported.
Representatives of sports schools for summer sports, winter sports, volleyball, sambo and judo tested their strength in the all-around.
Athletes competed in the 100-meter run, throwing the ball, long jump, lifting the torso, push-ups and pull-ups.
Among the young men in the individual event, Arthur Kokhan from the SShOR of summer sports won. In second place is Dmitry Markov, a pupil of the same sports school. The bronze was won by Muslim Umarov from the SShOR of winter sports.
Among the girls, biathlete Milana Tumashevskaya became the leader, the silver medalist was Elizaveta Du from the Summer Sports School. The third was the volleyball player Arina Son.
Athletes won gold in the team championship, biathletes won silver, and volleyball players won bronze.
