Threads microblogging service (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and is banned) going add a new feature to the application that will allow you to publish content in several services at the same time. The developer has provided the ability to integrate Threads with the Fediverse family of decentralized social networks.

A Fediverse sharing feature will appear in your Threads account settings, once activated, users will have five minutes to edit or cancel a post before it is posted on Fediverse. The company warns that some functionality will be lost – for example, it will be impossible to guarantee the deletion of posts on all related platforms.

Previously Threads started test there is a new section on the platform in which the most popular topics will be collected. Also the service in December 2023 will triple overtook by downloads of the social network X (formerly Twitter) and entered the top ten most downloaded applications on iOS and Android.
