The star of the popular Russian TV series about juvenile bandits, Nikita Kologrivy, may end up in the army instead of continuing his film career. This idea was proposed to the federal authorities by Novosibirsk City Council deputy Rostislav Antonov, commenting on reports of the artist’s detention after a brawl in a local bar.
According to the deputy, Kologrivy recently addressed military personnel in the Northern Military District with words of gratitude for the fact that they “take his place.” He added that during the Second World War, many actors served in the army. In connection with these two facts, for Kologrivy “there is nothing better than sharing their fate with them (the military),” the deputy believes.
“I’m ready to assist him in this,” assured Antonov in conversation with KP.RU.
He concluded that “t-shirts being torn off in a bar, waitresses being bitten” is absolutely “not what Novosibirsk residents want to see from their idol.”
“We still expect from him not empty scandals, but manly actions,” the deputy summed up.
