The Prosecutor General’s Office filed two lawsuits totaling almost 400 billion rubles against the largest crab miners, called “crab kings,” in the Far East. Case files are published in the Arbitration Court File Index.
About 20 individuals and ten companies are named as defendants in the materials. These included the Federal Fisheries Agency, businessmen, fishing companies and others. It is planned to recover 359 billion rubles for the first claim, and 17.4 billion rubles for the second.
