Tatarstan proposes to reward medical workers who dissuade women from having an abortion
In Tatarstan, it was proposed to reward doctors who dissuaded women from having an abortion – the initiative was taken by the children’s ombudsman of the republic, Irina Volynets.
The Ombudsman considers it appropriate at the federal level to introduce the “Bethlehem Certificate” – an award for health workers involved in supporting pregnant women who decide to continue their pregnancy.
According to Volynets, budget funds that go towards artificial termination of pregnancy can become a source of funding.
