“They walk around half-naked, and then complain that they are pestered. They go to the market in shorts, to shops and along the main street. And there our children walk. At that moment, when you make a remark to them, you say that it is ugly and ill-mannered to walk like that – they are rude. For such tourists, it is necessary to introduce some kind of punishment, for example, a fine,” said Omar, a resident of Sukhum.
Another local resident said that he fully agrees with him. He added that if a person comes to the Caucasus, then his behavior and clothing should be appropriate. You can’t act vulgar.
“Some drink from their throats, stand half-naked in the middle of the street. I think this is disrespect for our country. I propose to introduce some kind of punishment for such behavior,” he said.
