Nikolay is afraid to go to Donbass, but he wants to see what is happening

Nikolai Baskov, at the beginning of the SVO, was one of the first celebrities to indicate his civic position. Nikolay assures: he cannot help. After all, he saw all the horrors of the Ukrainian conflict with his own eyes.

“I have been to the Donbass many times,” Nikolai says. “At this difficult time, each of us should help our guys and the people who live there in any way we can.

— Isn’t it scary to go to Donbass?

– Of course, it’s scary. When you are away from those places, it is difficult to understand what is happening there. And there you see everything with your own eyes. I feel terribly sorry for the people who live in the new regions of Russia. None of them could have imagined that the nationalists would arrange such a thing. People just lost everything because of them. Everything that is possible. But everyone believes and hopes that everything will end soon. Peace will come, and Nazism in Ukraine will be finally defeated.

– When do you think the SVO will end?

— I can’t give exact dates. It’s not me who decides. This is decided at the global international level. May God give us all just strength, health, endurance, unity and victories in this difficult time. It is most important.

– You are one of the few stars who expressed their position from the very beginning. They say that some representatives of show business stopped communicating with you after that?

“I don’t care who stopped talking to me at all. That’s all. All the people who surround me adhere to the same position as I do. We respect and love each other. And those who did not talk to me because of my position, let them think for themselves. This is their problem, not mine.
