There will be no traditional organized march “Immortal Regiment” in 2023, it was decided to expand the usual format so that it could be possible to honor the memory of the heroes throughout the day. This was reported to “Interfax” by the press secretary of the movement Olga Baibulova.
She noted that this year the organizers of the action decided to abandon “the format of one street and one square, and go wider.”
One of these formats will be the “Immortal Regiment” for motorists. They will be able to place festively decorated portraits of their veterans on the rear or rear side windows of cars, if desired – photos of their awards or a brief description of the accomplished feats.
According to the co-chairman of the Central Headquarters of the Immortal Regiment of Russia, the author of the idea of the Immortal Regiment Gennady Ivanov, not only individual Russians, but also entire structures can take part in the action – public transport services, law enforcement agencies, taxi services, ambulances and so on.
Also, citizens can attach photos of the heroes of their families to their clothes – so they can not part with them throughout the Victory Day. Moscow multifunctional centers, in particular, will print T-shirts with the image of their veterans for Russians absolutely free of charge.
In turn, State Duma deputy Elena Tsunaeva recalled that Russians can talk about the exploits of their ancestors on the Internet.
