“There will be a trial”: the scandal with singer Julian not being allowed on board the plane continued

The artist did not make it to the audience

The loud scandal involving the singer Julian has been discussed for the second day now. Yesterday the performer of the hit “Russian Waltz” was supposed to go on tour to Ulyanovsk. However, the singer was unable to fly away. Julian was not allowed on the plane: it turned out that the artist was forty seconds late for boarding. Julian does not intend to put up with what is happening and is preparing to go to court.

“In fact, I wasn’t late for anything: the director and I arrived at the airport two hours before departure,” says Julian. – We went through registration, all the necessary control and began to wait for boarding. But it was not announced on the radio. I have perfect hearing: I heard the announcement of all other flights except Ulyanovsk. Half an hour before departure, we went to the exit ourselves, where a girl with a completely straight face told us: “Boarding completed forty seconds ago.”

“Here you can talk as much as you like about being 30 or 40 seconds late, but you can’t behave like that,” the singer continues. — The plane was still standing for forty minutes. During this time it was possible to enter it a hundred times. A completely inhumane situation occurred. I told where I was going and why. In Ulyanovsk, I had planned not only a concert, but also a meeting with SVO soldiers who are undergoing treatment in a local hospital. I had to go straight from the plane to them, and then to the concert hall. By the way, as I was told, I am the first artist who toured Ulyanovsk and planned to visit the hospital.

— How could you not show basic humanity? – the singer is surprised. “I still remember the girl who stood on the counter like a robot. I tell her: “The audience is waiting for me, the military is waiting for me.” “We are not interested in this, the landing is over,” she replied. “I was at the airport for another two hours,” the artist continues. — We tried different ways to get to Ulyanovsk: through Penza, Samara, Kazan… There were no more tickets. But even if I flew, for example, to Samara, I would then have to travel another three to four hours by car. I understood that I wouldn’t have time to get to the hospital or to the concert: there was a time difference with Moscow. A completely wild situation that happened to me for the first time! I apologize to all the spectators, some of whom I know came from 700 kilometers away! Both I and the concert organizer suffered huge losses. Vice-President of the Russian Lawyers’ Guild Tatyana Stukalova told me that I am not the only one who encounters such an attitude. I won’t let things take their course. I have already decided that I will sue.
