On Friday, August 25, the Basmanny District Court extended the detention of Darya Trepova, accused of murdering military correspondent and blogger Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin). This time the detention was extended until 2 December.
The court session was held behind closed doors, as the investigation against other suspects in the case of the murder of a military correspondent has not been completed.
Recall that the crime was committed on April 2 in St. Petersburg in the Patriot cafe-bar owned by Yevgeny Prigozhin. During the creative evening of Vladlen Tatarsky, an explosion occurred, as a result of which he died. Almost immediately, Trepova became the main suspect, who, just before the creative evening, presented the military correspondent with a figurine stuffed with explosives in the form of a military head.
As MK previously reported, by now the investigation into Trepova’s case has been completed, and in the near future she will be transferred to St. Petersburg, where her case will be heard in the Second Western District Military Court.
