According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Kyiv attempted to attack unmanned aerial vehicles on facilities in Moscow and the Moscow region. As a result of operational actions, two Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed with the help of air defense systems in the Odintsovo and Narofominsk districts of the Moscow region. Another drone was suppressed by electronic warfare and crashed on the territory of the complex of non-residential buildings in Moscow City.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that several unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down with the help of air defense systems while trying to enter the capital. One of the devices reached Moscow City, as a result of which the facade of one of the towers on the 21st floor was damaged. The glazing area of 150 square meters was broken. Emergency services are on the scene.
On the morning of July 30, Sobyanin reported that the city had been attacked by Ukrainian drones. As a result of this attack, the facades of two office towers in Moscow City received minor damage, and one person was injured. Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense clarified that one unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed in the air over the territory of the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region, and two others were suppressed and crashed on the territory of Moscow City.
