Ukraine’s new attacks on Moscow confirm the “essence of the Kyiv regime,” Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
“All possible measures are being taken to organize protection at the required level from the continuing danger of terrorist attacks on peaceful facilities, on the residential sector by the Kyiv regime. This applies not only to Moscow, this applies to other regions that are currently under such attacks,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
Peskov confirmed the continuation of “attempts to deliver terrorist strikes” by Ukraine and noted that everything possible is being done to minimize the risk of such attacks.
On the night of July 30, Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow. As a result, the facades of two office towers in Moscow City were slightly damaged. There are no victims or injured.
The emergency services reported that the explosion occurred in the “IQ-quarter”, where several federal ministries are located. The windows from the first to the fourth floors were shattered in the Oko-2 tower. A Vedomosti source also said that around 3:13 Moscow time, an explosion occurred on the 10th floor of one of the towers, there was no open burning.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the drones fell into Moscow City after being suppressed by means of electronic warfare (EW). Another drone was shot down by means of air defense (air defense) in the sky of the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region.
