There are enough prices for everyone: high inflation will hit your pocket

On Friday, September 29, at 12.00 there will be a live broadcast from the MK press center, dedicated to rising prices on the shelves and inflation in the market.
Throughout 2024, inflation in Russia will remain at high levels, said Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov.
Meanwhile, the estimate of inflation that citizens expect in a year has increased to 11.7%. According to surveys, respondents are concerned about rising prices for most goods, especially gasoline, as well as meat and poultry.
The general rise in prices is forcing Russians to reconsider their consumer habits: if earlier they often bought products in medium-sized packages, now they buy either very small or very large ones, and if we talk about household appliances, they prefer to repair them rather than buy fresh ones. It’s all about saving. Products in small packages allow you to avoid overpaying for volume. And repairing old gadgets turns out to be more profitable at current prices for new items.
According to experts, retailers have so far managed to maintain demand, but it will be difficult to maintain it due to rising inflation. Why can’t the authorities stop the rise in prices? What goods and services are experiencing the greatest price impact? How to save money on purchases?
These and many other questions will be answered by the Chairman of the Board of the Confederation of Consumer Societies Dmitry Yanin, General Director of INFOLine-Analytics Mikhail Burmistrov, Director of the Institute of Socio-Economic Research of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation Alexey Zubets.
