The regional sports competition for athletes with disabilities has ended in Nevinnomyssk. The Zheleznovodsk team took 1st place in the overall standings, the press service of the city administration said.
More than 100 athletes took part in the event. They competed in shooting, basketball, chess, checkers, table tennis, etc.
“The team has formed a friendly, purposeful team. We are always ready to help each other, and such results were made possible thanks to each other’s support, as well as constant training,” said the mayor of the resort city, Evgeny Bakulin, and congratulated the guys on their victory, wishing them further success.
It was previously reported that in Essentuki they are ready to rehabilitate special operation veterans at the Hippotherapy Center.
