The Northwestern Federal District futsal championship among boys under 14 years old has ended in Veliky Novgorod. The Association of Football Federations “North-West” spoke about this.
12 teams from the Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Novgorod regions and the Komi Republic took part in the competition. The winner of the tournament was the Arkhangelsk “Vodnik”, who beat the football players of the secondary school of the Komi Republic with a score of 10:4 in the final. The team from Arkhangelsk won the right to compete in the final stage of the Russian Championship.
The third place was won by the Northern Legion team from Syktyvkar, and the Murmansk Young Guard took fourth place at the end of the tournament. Novgorod SSH-2 teams, formed from football players born in 2010 and 2011, took seventh and eighth places, respectively. Vodnik player Yaroslav Belov was recognized as the best player of the tournament.
