The Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug team won awards at the Russian championship in northern all-around

Yamal athletes are among the winners of the Russian championship in northern all-around. The news was shared in the administration of the Priuralsky district.

In the individual competition of the long-distance ax throwing discipline, Maxim Tiberi became the winner. In cross-country pole running, Vladislav Klimov took first place, Maxim Tiberi took second place. In sled jumping, Roman Tiberi won gold, Vladislav Klimov won bronze. Maxim Tiberi took second place in the trochee throw, and Roman Tiberi won second place in the “triple jump with two-leg take-off” discipline.

According to the results of the all-around among juniors, Roman Tiberi won gold, Vladislav Klimov won silver. In the team competition among juniors and junior women, the Yamal team took second place.

Let us add that the competition took place in Krasnoyarsk. Their participants included 200 athletes from 12 northern regions of Russia, from the Komi Republic to Chukotka.
