The working group on SVO proposed to exempt volunteers from military service

The working group on military operations sent another report to President Vladimir Putin. In particular, it proposes to exempt volunteers with at least six months of experience in the Northern Military District from subsequent military service. This was reported in Telegram head of the working group Andrey Turchak.

Other group proposals include:

preserve the rights of participants in the military operation to the “Far Eastern” and “Arctic” hectares, which are drawn up under agreements for free use;

guarantee that disabled children of deceased SVO participants receive two pensions at the same time: both for disability and for the loss of a breadwinner;

do not take into account the place of registration of a participant in a military operation when assigning regional support measures to his parents;

extend to clergy of traditional faiths working in the Northern Military District the same insurance guarantees as for volunteers (3 million rubles in case of injury, 5 million rubles in case of death);

zero VAT for drone manufacturers;

reduce insurance premiums for employers when employing disabled combat veterans.

It is also proposed to transfer confiscated firearms “for the needs of the Northern Military District.” Mr. Turchak noted that “it will be more useful on the front line.” According to him, this idea has already been supported by the head of the Russian Guard, Viktor Zolotov.

In January the working group contributed a bill has been submitted to the State Duma that will protect the interests of the common-law wives of dead and missing participants in the military operation. The document was prepared after Vladimir Putin offered think about supporting widows of military operation fighters who lived without a formal marriage.
