The Kerch ferry crossing, which connects the Crimean Peninsula and the Krasnodar Territory, is temporarily unavailable due to bad weather conditions. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
“The operation of the Kerch ferry crossing is temporarily suspended due to unfavorable weather conditions,” the department informed on November 27. The start date has not been specified.
The last time the crossing was temporarily suspended was on November 18th. The reason was also unfavorable weather conditions.
Bad weather continues on the peninsula after a strong hurricane that hit the region on November 26. The Republic’s Ministry of Emergency Situations warned Crimeans about rain, snow and ice.
