The words of the deputy who proposed to equate anti-vaxxers with extremists are required to be checked for extremism

The State Duma proposed to consider all those who refuse to be vaccinated as extremists. Tatyana Solomatina, a member of the Health Protection Committee, said this. Stating that anti-vaxxers may be linked to those who want to “reduce Russia’s population”.

Angry public figures are going to write to the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General’s Office about this. In order to check the presence of extremist meaning in the words of the lady “for inciting hatred and enmity” in relation to a certain social group.

If unlawful actions are detected, concerned citizens demand “to initiate a criminal case on the grounds of a crime, paragraph “b”, part 2 of Art. 282, part 2, part 5 of Art. 128.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, as well as bring Solomatina to administrative responsibility under Art. 20.3.1. Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for “humiliation of human dignity.”

It is clear that our deputies have an inviolable status, and the cases when they themselves removed it from their colleagues can be counted on the fingers. The most famous, perhaps, is the story of the deputy Valery Rashkin, who killed an elk. Even though Rashkin was deprived of his immunity as a result, he was sentenced conditionally. They don’t leave theirs.

Perhaps this is logical. But somehow not very fair. It is strange that the recently introduced code of parliamentary ethics instructs the people’s representatives not to boast of their wealth and not to go on vacation to an elite abroad, but at the same time it does not oblige them to follow what they say. Including in relation to voters.

The deputies are eager to forbid everyone to use foreign words, but they themselves do not choose expressions in their native Russian. And, probably, they don’t quite think how their word will resonate. Especially in our current society, which is already electrified to the limit. Put a match on and it will ignite. So why provoke again? Who can benefit from this?

In fact, it is not clear why the deputy suddenly spoke again on the topic of forced immunoprophylaxis and the fight against those who are against it. It seems that this agenda in the Russian Federation has been irrelevant for almost a year now. Moreover, Putin has always spoken out and speaks out for the voluntary nature of this medical procedure. So what specifically motivated Tatyana Solomatina when she publicly stated that those who did not get vaccinated were “working out someone’s order”?

According to the deputy, there are certain structures that call for refusing to be vaccinated. She pointed out that such activities are “also a war, but on a different front.”

It would be no secret that the topic of forced vaccination initially came from the West and from the WHO. These are definitely not our staples.

But personally, I am surprised by the coincidence that this statement very well coincided with the WHO prolongation of the emergency situation related to the coronavirus pandemic, from which private investors of the World Organization 6 still see only vaccinations as a rescue. Although it has already been proven that those who made them get sick and die in the same way, and collective immunity from COVID-19, alas, cannot be achieved.

Yes, unfortunately for our deputies, not all Russians have yet forgotten how to think and are ready to agree to whatever is done to them, even under the threat of being accused of extremism.

However, any person has the right to ask reasonable questions about the composition and safety of substances introduced into his body. How can he be considered a criminal for this?

By the way, Tatyana Solomatina herself, one of the richest women politicians in Russia, who even topped the top 10 of the Forbes list in 2017, probably received more preferences from the coronavirus pandemic than all the anti-vaxxers combined.

Since it was her family that opened the first private covidarium in Russia in 2020, our newspaper also wrote about this.

Already in the evening, when the hype about Solomatina’s words rose considerable, the State Duma issued a statement that her colleagues did not share Solomatina’s opinion.

Tatyana Vasilievna herself, by the evening, also posted a post with regret about what she had done, they say, she talked with journalists on the run, somewhere she could speak out too harshly … “I am sure that to divide people according to the principle, and even more so to write down someone into extremists, in no case is it possible, and I will never do this. I would like to apologize to everyone who was offended by my words. Personally, as a professional doctor, I believe that each of us should be responsible for our health. I sincerely and from the bottom of my heart wish everyone one thing – health.

The point has been set. But the sediment remained. Why is it enough for some of the deputies to say that they blurted out without thinking, and get away with it?
