The teacher – the heroine of the scandalous video explained its origin: “The cadet was prompted”

In Cheboksary, after a sensational scandalous video in which a pupil of the Chuvash Cadet Corps calls his teacher “the main whore of the country” and obscenely insults, the “heroine” of the video, 34-year-old geography teacher Olga Kalaeva, was forced to quit. The bullying of the teacher at school lasted a long time, but this video was the final chord. Why did the young teacher, who has a lot of professional achievements in his luggage, not please the teaching staff so much?

“MK” learned new details of this scandal, which, to put it mildly, does not characterize the cadet school very well, which is responsible for “patriotic education of the younger generation and preparation for serving the Fatherland.”

Recall that he severely insulted his teacher and disgraced her throughout the country 17-year-old Georgy Tatur (he had already graduated from a cadet school), whose father occupies a fairly large position – he is the director of the Cadastral Chamber of Chuvashia.

On January 25, it became known about the dismissal of the teacher “of her own free will.” Earlier, MK wrote that the ninth graders, for whom Kalaeva was the class teacher for four years, as well as their parents, are very sorry about her departure. Before quitting, the teacher wrote to her parents that “I would never have done this, and if I had left, it would be only at the end of the school year,” but I have to do it right now.

Olga Nikolaevna came to work in the cadet corps in 2018. Prior to her dismissal, she was the class teacher of the 9th “B” class.

“The situation with the publication on the Internet of a video from graduate Georgy Tatur is one of the reasons for my dismissal,” the teacher confirmed to MK. – I do not presume to judge these guys and their upbringing. The guys apologized and fully admitted that they were wrong. I forgave them and I want to wish them a good life path, and in no case do I want to spoil it for them.

The teacher is sure that “the cadet himself would not have thought of such an act, he was prompted.”

– In the video, a young man often addresses one of the teachers of the cadet corps, calling him by his first name and patronymic. Presumably, this teacher is sitting in the back seat of the car in which Georgy Tatur is spying on me (there is confirmation of this – the teacher’s voice is heard on one of the videos), Olga Nikolaevna said. – Since this is not the only case when this teacher uses underage children in order to humiliate and insult me, I turned to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Education of the Chuvash Republic. At the same time, the number of unfounded complaints from several teachers, my colleagues, who are slandering and insulting me and everyone who supports me, has increased. Bullying is based on personal animosity.

– How did hostile relations begin with this particular teacher, who, according to you, is involved in this video?

— It started with my arrival at the school, when I was appointed the class teacher of the fifth grade. This teacher also had his own class. And the parents of his students were unhappy that our class was participating everywhere, going to museums, on excursions, that we were winning prizes, but they were not. I guess it’s just jealousy on his part.

As one of the cadets shared with MK earlier, the mentioned teacher and Georgy Tatur were friendly. The Cadets told MK that a war had begun between parallel classes. And Tatur was from a class hostile to Olga Nikolaevna.

“Olga Nikolaevna’s class was envied from the very beginning,” the father of one of her ninth graders confirmed. – At the meetings, complaints were often heard, why everything goes to her students, “but nothing to us.” Here is one example: class news was posted on the page of the cadet corps on the social network, and there was always the most news from Kalaeva’s class, because they participated a lot and everywhere. Apparently, this news very much annoyed the others. All parents supported Olga Nikolaevna. Several people from her class were scholarship holders of the head of the republic. Already the third student of hers returned from Artek, her other students also went to Orlyonok. Not a single teacher in the cadet corps has such achievements in work in such numbers. She is also a scholarship holder.

The director of the cadet school, Natalya Timofeeva, who took up this position in 2021, supported Kalaeva in everything and defended her from attacks.

“I wrote a letter of resignation after the director left, because without her objective assessment I consider it dangerous to remain in the corps with such colleagues,” Olga Nikolaevna admitted to us. – I think that the departure of such a brilliant and competent leader as Natalya Yuryevna from the cadet corps is a great loss for the cadet corps. I hope that the Ministry of Education will create conditions for the development of the corps and the children studying in it, so that they are brought up by teachers who know what honor, dignity, and respect are. Unfortunately, this is not the case yet.

Recall that, according to the Ministry of Education of the Chuvash Republic, director Natalya Timofeeva “wrote a letter of resignation of her own free will back in October 2022, but she was asked to stay and finalize at least until the end of the financial year.”

Kalaeva also said that even after her dismissal, the flow of insults against her does not dry out: “Teachers and cadets of the parallel class comment on social networks about my departure, using obscene language. They violate all norms of pedagogical ethics…”.

– The Ministry of Education of the Republic after your dismissal issued a comment that they are “concerned” about the situation and intend to help you with employment. Called your experience “invaluable”. Do you have any options where you would like to go to work?

— They recently contacted me and offered to meet and talk. About work – in thought. I would like, of course, to stay to work in my hometown and region, if this is not hindered …
