Ekaterina Bosova, widow of Russian billionaire Dmitry Bosov, said she was on the list of foreign agents by mistake, because of a fake interview.
According to Bosova, her interview was published on the French-language website Facta.Media. In it, on her behalf, it is stated that her husband did not commit suicide, but was liquidated by the special services because of his refusal to sell the business. Bosov, who owned large coal assets, shot himself in the Moscow region in 2020.
In addition, the material says that Bosova went to opposition rallies in Russia. She herself claims that she did not say anything like that and did not go to rallies. And he calls the interview fake.
On October 21, it was reported that journalists Alexander Plyushchev and Tatyana Felgenhauer, producer Alexander Rodnyansky were included in the register of individuals – foreign agents. In addition to the listed persons, Semyon Kochkin, Tatyana Shadrina, Ilya Shumanov, Ruslan Gabbasov, and the aforementioned Ekaterina Bosova are included in the list of foreign agents. Ilya Ponomarev, a former deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, has also been recognized as a foreign agent.
In accordance with the requirements of the law, persons included in the list of foreign agents are required to disclose their status in any publications. They are also required to report on the money they receive.
