Leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, Evgeny Tishkovets, warned residents and guests of Moscow that they can expect abnormally high barometer readings next week.
“On Friday, February 16, the atmospheric pressure in Moscow will be 769 mm Hg, which is 22 units higher than normal... Such pressure with sensations when descending into a mine. Citizens should beware of the baric “bump,” the specialist warned.
Note that such conditions can negatively affect the health of allergy sufferers, asthmatics and those who suffer from high blood pressure.
