“The water level in the Ural River has increased by 81 centimeters over the past 24 hours. According to the hydrometeorological center, at 08:00 the water level is 978 centimeters,” the city administration said.
The mayor’s office added that the night before the river level exceeded the dangerous mark of 930 centimeters. Now the water level continues to rise. As experts note, today the water level may rise by another 30-70 centimeters.
