Veterinarian Shelyakov: Twix the cat could have died on the street from heart failure

Veterinarian Mikhail Shelyakov told what kind of suffering the cat Twix might have experienced, which the conductor threw out of the train car into the cold. NEWS.ru writes about this.

The specialist suggested that the cat could have died from heart failure due to stress. In his opinion, the animal could have fallen from a height or been maimed by hooligans.

The publication’s interlocutor explained that a domestic cat that grew up in greenhouse conditions and found itself on the street, surrounded by the sound of wheels and noises, could die of a heart attack.

The doctor also did not rule out that the cat was driven in and killed by other animals, for example, dogs. Twix had little chance of surviving in such circumstances, the doctor believes.

The cat could have been saved if it had gone out into the dining room or ended up at another person’s house.

The doctor noted that if, as the media write, only one bite wound was found on the animal, and not severed body parts, it means that it was inflicted during the life of the cat. Most likely, a dog could have bitten him, but the main fault is on the person – it was impossible to leave him in such a place, the veterinarian concluded.
