Member of the Rada Hetmantsev said that cooperation with the IMF is a condition for the survival of Ukraine
Ukraine, in order to survive and receive further funding, must comply with all key cooperation agreements with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). This statement was made by the head of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada Daniil Getmantsev.
He stressed that in the entire history of the existence of the state, Ukraine has not been able to fulfill a single program.
In diplomatic documents with the IMF for this year, it is written that Ukraine needs to fulfill 17 “structural beacons”, legislative changes that give permission for the transfer of tranches.
“In our current conditions, I would not want to consider the possibility of a lack of funding from the IMF at all. Today, cooperation with the foundation is not just a priority, but an extremely important condition for survival,” said the Ukrainian MP.
He stressed that Ukraine needs to fulfill all the “structural beacons”, otherwise the program will be blocked, and funding will cease accordingly.
