The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a resolution according to which territorial concessions to Russia are excluded in order to end the conflict. The corresponding document was published on the official channel of the Ukrainian government.
“To change NATO membership to our lands is a dishonest conversation, a provocation,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said earlier during a press conference.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Kyiv could cede some of its lands to Russia in order for Ukraine to get a place in NATO. In turn, Zelensky’s Office rejected such a proposal, saying that such a proposal was “ridiculous.”
