The Saratov branch of United Russia (ER) intends to expel Yulia Trukhmanova, deputy of the city council Marx, from the party and remove Yulia Trukhmanova from the elections because of her words about the role of the current president in the politics of the 90s. Proving that Vladimir Putin was not involved in the “fraudulent privatization”, the deputy said that at that time he was a “nobody”. The recording of the conversation was published by Mrs. Trukhmanova’s rival in the autumn elections, Dmitry Lipensky. She herself assures that the film is mounted.

Saratov United Russia promised to expel city council deputy Yulia Trukhmanova Marx from the party for her “outrageous, absurd and frankly stupid statements about the country’s leadership.” According to a post on the department’s website, Ms. Trukhmanova will also be expelled from the faction and removed from the elections to the new convocation of the City Council, which will be held on September 10.

Earlier, an hour-long audio recording of a dispute between Yulia Trukhmanova and her rival in constituency No. 28, self-nominated Dmitry Lipensky, appeared on the Nash Marx YouTube channel. He confirmed to Kommersant that he made this recording himself, and made the decision to put it online after consulting with journalists. According to the candidate, the dialogue is dated August 7, when Yulia Trukhmanova held a meeting with voters in the courtyard of his house. Mr. Lipensky joined them and turned on the recorder “in order to capture possible provocations.” At the end of the event, a conversation took place between the candidates. At the beginning of the recording, you can hear Mrs. Trukhmanova herself allowing her words to be recorded.

The interlocutors began by discussing Marx’s problems, argued about the identity of the head of the district, Dmitry Romanov, and then discussed the role of United Russia in the activities of the municipal deputy. “What difference does it make to me: I am edros, I am mandros. I won’t vote if I don’t understand. This party doesn’t bother me. I am not the level of a deputy who decides something. Not a single deputy decides here, ”says Yulia Trukhmanova on the recording.

The discussion about democracy in Russia and the world spilled over into the discussion of privatization in the 1990s. The interlocutor of Mr. Lipensky called this process a fraud, emphasizing that it was “not Putin” who invented it: “It was invented by others.” In response, the deputy’s opponent recalled that at that time Vladimir Putin was the deputy mayor of St. Petersburg, Anatoly Sobchak. “He was a nobody and there is no way to call him,” the deputy retorted. “He wore a diplomat and poured coffee. Nobody”. Mrs. Trukhmanova also allowed another derogatory epithet. Dmitry Lipensky tried to object to her that then “the governors had power,” but Mrs. Trukhmanova stood her ground: “Stop it, he was a nobody.”

After the publication of the audio recording, Yulia Trukhmanova posted a post on social networks, in which she stated that the dialogue took place “in private”, and the tape did not correspond to its meaning: “I tried to convey to the interlocutor that the policy of the current president is the only correct one, and he never ” did not stand at the origins of fraudulent privatization schemes, such, for example, structures as MMM”, and the phrases “in no way” taken out of context did not apply to him. “I believe the sound recording has been edited. In this regard, I intend to apply to the judiciary to protect my honor, dignity and business reputation,” the deputy concluded.

In the regional branch of the United Russia, they could not clarify to Kommersant whether the meeting of the political council of the party cell, which should decide the fate of the municipal deputy, was held. Kommersant also failed to contact the head of the local party members, Nikolai Pankov: his press secretary said that the politician holds meetings with citizens in villages where there is no telephone connection. Yulia Trukhmanova herself did not answer calls from Kommersant during the day. However, a source in the United Russia branch told Kommersant that the party asked Mrs. Trukhmanova to refrain from communicating with the press. According to him, the most favorable outcome for the party is if during the trial it is proved that the recording was edited, and the insults did not concern Vladimir Putin, but Dmitry Lipensky himself.

Mr. Lipensky, in turn, assured Kommersant that he was ready for trial, as he had the original file with the recording. He explained the decision to publish the conversation with a desire to draw attention to the electoral technologies that the district authorities allegedly use during the campaign: “I have been elected for three years already: I ​​have been trying to get elected in Marx, I went to the regional duma in the district, and to the State Duma. In each constituency, EP nominates its own candidate and nominee. In the previous elections, Yulia Trukhmanova competed with Dmitry Frolov, a self-nominated candidate from Engels, and he also participates in these. If Trukhmanova is removed, an understudy may also be removed. I am most afraid of this, because if the second candidate is removed, the elections in the constituency will be declared invalid. Mr. Lipensky calls the results of the publication of the recording of the conversation “controversial”: “I won’t say that I’m glad, but I’m not responsible for her words.
