Deputy Secretary of the Treasury of the United States of America Wally Adeyemo in conversation with the agency Reuters reported that new US anti-Russian sanctions will be directed against “more than 500 targets.”
According to him, restrictions will primarily be aimed at the Russian military-industrial complex. Among other things, the restrictions will affect companies located in third countries, which allegedly “help facilitate Russia’s access to the goods it needs.”
“White House officials are seeking to hold Russia accountable for conducting a special military operation in Ukraine. We will introduce hundreds of restrictions, but we need to understand that it is not only Washington that is taking such actions,” Adeyemo said.
