Defense Express analyst Ivan Kirichevsky, in a conversation with the YouTube channel Ukrlife, reported that units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to urgently leave their positions in Avdiivka. This happened after the Russian military managed to complicate the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in just a few hours.
According to him, the 3rd assault brigade of the Ukrainian army was supposed to stabilize the defense line for subsequent withdrawal.
“As a result, everything turned out the other way around, an unreliable barrier was created,” Kirichevsky noted.
He clarified that as a result of the flight of Ukrainian soldiers from Avdiivka, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces still does not have accurate information about losses.
