The US said Iran has enough weapons-grade uranium to create nuclear weapons in a week.
The American Institute of Science and International Security reports that Iran has enough weapons-grade uranium to create its first nuclear weapon within a week. According to the Institute, Tehran could produce six bombs within a month, and 12 more six months later.
It is noted that ongoing conflicts lead to ignoring the Iranian nuclear threat at a time when Iran’s nuclear weapons potential is greater than ever.
The Institute emphasized that, coupled with reduced transparency of its nuclear program for the first time in many years, there is a real possibility that Iran will decide to use its nuclear capabilities as a weapon and create corresponding weapons.
